Yammer Update: Transitioning to a New Collaboration Solution

We want to bring you up to speed on an important development regarding our collaboration platform. As you may be aware, Microsoft recently implemented significant changes to the Yammer application, which has resulted in some users being locked out of the system. We have conducted an extensive review and investigation, only to find that restoring access to these users is not possible without setting them up with paid Microsoft accounts.

However, we have been working diligently to identify an alternative solution that will not only resolve the access issue but also provide enhanced functionality and a more seamless experience. We are excited to introduce Microsoft Teams as our new collaboration platform.

With Microsoft Teams, we can accommodate free guest users, ensuring that everyone has access to the platform. We anticipate the new solution to be available by the end of July 2023.

As part of the migration process, all users will require re-authorization to access the new community on Microsoft Teams. To ensure a smooth transition, we request that you complete this request form by Wednesday, July 26.

Over the next two weeks, you can expect additional communications from us regarding this transition, including instructions, training resources, and FAQs to address any concerns you may have.
