Spiritual Gifts for Mission
At Baptism, each person is given spiritual gifts to use in bringing the world into relationship with Jesus Christ and his church. We have the privilege of participating in the saving mission of Jesus by discerning our spiritual gifts and transforming our relationships, home life and workplaces. But it can be challenging to know how to intentionally bring the love, healing, and mercy of Jesus to the world. Join Katherine Coolidge, the Director of Parish and Diocesan Services from the Catherine of Siena Institute, from Colorado Springs, as she helps us discover our pathway to a personal calling for Christ and be on mission through the use of our spiritual gifts.
Main Presentation—7:00pm to 9:00pm
- This presentation will look at:
- Mission of Jesus - the presence of the Holy Spirit
- Discipleship and mission - preparation and participation
- Mission and spiritual gifts - intention and fruit
- Personal call/vocation - discerning where the world’s greatest need meets our greatest gifting.
- Extend the Experience (for trained Called and Gifted Interviewers) - 6:00pm to 7:00pm with pizza dinner included.
