Detroit Catholic Celebrates Three-Year Anniversary

Message from Michael Stechschulte, Editor-in-Chief of Detroit Catholic:

As Detroit Catholic celebrates its three-year anniversary on Oct. 25, we would like to thank everyone who has read, shared and supported our award-winning archdiocesan news publication.

An outgrowth of Archbishop Vigneron’s pastoral vision in Unleash the Gospel, and successor to the archdiocese’s long-running Michigan Catholic newspaper, Detroit Catholic’s all-digital strategy has brought relevant, daily, local Catholic news to readers across the Archdiocese of Detroit in creative, innovative formats.

Three years later, we are not done innovating. As part of our evolving news strategy, we are excited to announce several new features, including:

  • An all-new Detroit Catholic website, featuring better access to our popular podcast ‘Detroit Stories’ and video content
  • Award-winning news content now available as parish bulletin inserts and available via Parish Mail (starting Tuesday, October 26)
  • Redesigned daily, weekly and monthly email newsletters — all completely free
  • Expanded access to our Spanish-language news website and newsletter, Detroit Catholic en Español

To subscribe for free to our daily or weekly newsletters in English and Spanish, visit the all-new DetroitCatholic.com. You can also follow @detroitcatholic on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
