The latest edition of PBS’ award-winning program Religion & Ethics Newsweekly features a segment on the changing demographics in Hamtramck, from 90% Polish-Catholic in 1970 to 11% today. The city of 22,000 is now majority Muslim, with immigrants from many countries and cultures, including Bosnia, Bangladesh, and Yemen.
