Reverend John Maksym

Reverend John Maksym appointed Full-Time Priest Support to the In Solidum team of priests who pastor the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament, Detroit; St. Aloysius Parish, Detroit; and St. Mary (Greektown) Parish, Detroit, which form the Resurget Cineribus Family of Parishes, effective July 1, 2025. In this role, Fr. Maksym will serve primarily at St. Aloysius Parish, Detroit; and St. Mary (Greektown) Parish, Detroit. Fr. Maksym is also appointed Episcopal Vicar for Clergy Discipline, Archbishop’s Delegate to the Archdiocesan Review Board, and Coordinator of the Priest Integrity Panel, effective July 1, 2025. (In the coming weeks, a communication will be sent to all clergy concerning changes with this role.) Fr. Maksym currently serves as Moderator and a member of the In Solidum team of priests who pastor San Francesco Parish, Clinton Township; St. Hubert Parish, Harrison Township; St. Louis Parish, Clinton Township; and St. Peter Parish, Mount Clemens, which form the Central Macomb 1 Family of Parishes.
