  • Divine Savior - St. Damian - St. Theodore »

    July 11, 2013 - Divine Savior, St. Damian, and St. Theodore, all located in Westland, are now clustered under the leadership of Rev. Patrick Casey, who is the parish administrator at Divine Savior and pastor at St. Damian and St. Theodore. While St. Damian and St. Theodore continue to work on a plan to merge, all three parishes are considering additional ministerial collaborations and resource sharing. Divine Savior Parish has about 400 registered households, St. Damian has approximately 675, and St. Theodore has about 1,200. The three parishes are located within a five-mile radius of each other.

  • St. Dunstan - St. Raphael »

    July 11, 2013 - A plan to cluster St. Dunstan and St. Raphael, both in Garden City, was submitted by the parishes and approved by Bishop Francis Reiss. In addition to his ongoing responsibilities at St. Raphael, Rev. Raymond Lewandowski will become pastor at St. Dunstan effective August 1. St. Dunstan Parish has about 650 registered households, St. Raphael has approximately 1,600. The parishes are located about two and one-half miles apart.

    June 27, 2012 - Following communication and collaboration among the pastor, parish councils, and parishioners of St. Genevieve and St. Maurice parishes in Livonia, the archdiocesan Presbyteral Council recently reviewed and advised to accept Together in Faith pastoral planning actions recommended by these already clustered parishes.
