Action Plan: Group 2

  • Divine Savior
  • St. Damian
  • St. Dunstan
  • St. Raphael
  • St. Theodore of Canterbury

St. Damian, St. Theodore of Canterbury, and Divine Savior

In early 2012, the already clustered parishes of St. Damian and St. Theodore are to develop a plan to merge. The plan is to be submitted to the Regional Moderator no later than June 30, 2012. In addition, this newly merged parish should then move forward as a cluster partner with Divine Savior and develop a cluster plan, to be submitted to the Regional Moderator. The cluster plan should be implemented when a current pastor is no longer available, if a replacement is not available to be assigned, or when either parish begins to experience a net operating deficit. Plans should commence with models for initial collaboration, and include contingency plans for programming, outreach and administration, for merging parishes, and/or closing buildings and planning for the sale of property. This may result in short term, temporary administrators assigned, or a more permanent solution.
