These parishes are to develop collaboration partnerships to be submitted to the Regional Moderator no later than June 30, 2012, including plans for evaluating programs and determining areas for collaboration if there is a need for implementation of a temporary cluster. In this way, the pastors and parishes will have already developed relationships, even though these would be short term, temporary clusters in the event of an emergency vacancy of a pastorate.

St. Francis/St. Maximillian Kolbe and St. Mary Mytical Rose

In early 2012, St. Francis/St. Maximilian Kolbe and St. Mary Mystical Rose are to move forward as cluster partners and develop a cluster plan to be submitted to the Regional Moderator no later than June 30, 2012. The cluster plan should be implemented when a current pastor is no longer available, if a replacement is not available to be assigned, or when either parish begins to experience a net operating deficit. Plans should commence with models for initial collaboration and include contingency plans for programming, outreach and administration, for clustering/merging the parishes, and/or closing buildings and planning for the sale of property. This may result in short term, temporary administrators assigned, or a more permanent solution.
