Detroit Ordinations to be on Television, Web, and Smartphones

The three priests to be ordained as auxiliary bishops for the Catholic Archdiocese of Detroit will be available for media interviews on Thursday, May 5, at 10:30 a.m. The briefing for Bishops-designate Michael Byrnes, Arturo Cepeda, and Donald Hanchon will be held in the parish offices of the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament, located directly behind the church at 9844 Woodward Avenue in Detroit.

This will be the only opportunity to interview the new bishops due to the pressure of the day's deadlines and events, chief among them the ordination ceremony, included in a Mass led by Detroit Archbishop Allen Vigneron, taking place between 2 and 5 p.m. in the cathedral.
