Fr. Frank Pollie Death NoticeApril 5, 1941 - January 30, 2015 Our brother and fellow priest, Father Frank Pollie, passed on from this life on January 30, 2015, at the age of 73. Father Pollie was born on April 5, 1941, in Detroit and ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Detroit on June 3, 1967. Father Pollie’s assignments included serving as pastor at St. Matthew Parish, Detroit; St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Lake Orion; Our Lady of Victory Parish, Northville; St. Anne Parish, Ortonville; and St. Irenaeus Parish, Rochester Hills. He also had served as associate pastor at St. Raphael Parish, Garden City and St. Patrick Parish, White Lake. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at St. Irenaeus Church, 771 Old Perch Rd. Rochester Hills, MI 48309 beginning at 1p.m. A Scripture Service will commence at 7p.m. Father Pollie will lie in repose on Wednesday, Feb. 4, at St. Irenaeus Church from 9 a.m. until the celebration of his funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield. Father Pollie was predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Louise. He is survived by his brother, Donald (Mary), his sisters Dolores Tabor and Suzanne Arnaiz, and several nephews and nieces.
