March 2019

Meet Friends | Strengthen Faith | Share Christ

Lent Small Group Bible Studies

Starts the week starting March 10th (1st Week of Lent) through the week starting April 14th (Holy Week).

This Lent is your chance to grow close to God and make authentic friendships.  These small group Bible studies are opportunities for shared encounters with God through prayerful reading and discussion of His Word with other young adults.  You absolutely do not need any experience or expertise in the Bible or theology.  You only need the smallest desire to know God better.  A leader will facilitate the group, and then we expect the Holy Spirit to do great things.  The small groups will be separate men’s and women’s groups (open to ages 18-35).  Meetings will be about 1 ½ hours, once a week, for the 6 weeks of Lent, and they’re free.  Sign up now and we will try to match you with a small group time and location that fits you best.  Available options will be limited by the response we receive and available group facilitators.  No obligations if the times or locations don't work for you. Lent is very close, so sign up now for this experience of God's grace!

Discernment Weekend

Thurs, Mar 21, 6pm – Sun, Mar 24, 12pm | Sacred Heart Major Seminary | Detroit

This Discernment Weekend is a unique experience for anyone feeling a call to the priesthood. Spending four days living at the seminary provides you with a first-hand opportunity to see what it’s like from the inside. A large part of the Discernment Weekend focuses on the aspects of seminary life and the four pillars of priest formation.  If you’re even thinking there’s a chance God is calling you, you want to take advantage of this opportunity to learn what it’s like, and receive help in discerning the call.
