RE: 2022 Affordable Care Act (ACA) Preparation for AOD Parishes/Schools & Other Entities

As the Affordable Care Act (ACA) remains in effect, employers need to remain vigilant and be ready to complete reporting to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) at the close of the tax year. To make sure that the 2022 filing goes as smoothly as possible, Paycor has requested that its clients enter certain ACA data into the Paycor ACA Tool.

The following documents will assist in getting this completed:

To complete this process properly, which should take less than 5 minutes, you will also need:

  • Your Parish/Unit Policy on Employee Contribution toward Medical Premiums
    • This refers to the rate/amount that an employee is asked to pay toward his/her medical premium and should be outlined in the parish/unit personnel manual.

PLEASE NOTE: The calculation for Monthly Employee Premium Single Coverage is based on the lowest cost plan offered by the parish/unit for the employee only.

The deadline to enter this information into the Paycor ACA Tool is Monday, November 14, 2022.
