ACCESSING BUDGET REPORT FORMS, SUPPLEMENTS AND TRAINING VIDEO:

Non-compensation related Budget Report documents are available here:

  • Archdiocese of Detroit (AOD) Parish Yammer Network in the following groups:
    • Parish Support Services (PSS) Group
    • Financial Reporting – AOD Financial Services Group (restricted access)
  • AOD website, Finance and Administration Department (https://www.aod.org/finance-and-administration)


Compensation-related Budget Report documents can ONLY be found here:

  • Archdiocese of Detroit (AOD) Parish Yammer Network in the following groups:
    • Financial Reporting – AOD Financial Services Group (restricted access).

NOTES:

  • Once in a group, go to Network Resources to retrieve the documents.
  • New this year: Please be sure to watch the training video called ‘2022-23 AOD Financial Reporting Training.’


ACCESS TO AOD PARISH YAMMER NETWORK
If you do not already have access to the AOD Parish Yammer Network, complete the access request form here. Once access has been granted, click on “Discover more groups,” select “All Groups” (rather than “Recommended For You”), and “Join” the groups that will support your ministry.

NOTE: Access to the “Financial Reporting – AOD Financial Services” group is monitored by AOD Financial Services staff, and is restricted to Pastors/Administrators, Associate Pastors, Business Managers and Bookkeepers.

ENABLING MACROS IN THE MAIN BUDGET WORKBOOK:
In order for navigation buttons to work properly, macros must be enabled. To ensures macros are enabled, follow these steps.

NAVIGATING THE MAIN BUDGET WORKBOOK:
Use the blue (and gray) buttons on each menu to navigate through the file. You will not navigate by using tabs at the bottom as in year past. To begin, single left-click on the blue button labeled "Budget Report Menu." On the next menu, click on the Intacct or Non-Intacct button as it applies to your parish. NOTE: It is very important to select the correct menu as the steps for Intacct vs. non-Intacct users are different.

BUDGET SUBMISSION TO THE AOD:
Once the Budget Report file & Supplement file are completed, the electronic files (MS-Excel) must be submitted to the AOD using this link: http://budget.aodonline.org/.

NOTE: Scanned PDF files (i.e., signed cover pages) must also be submitted in the above manner. Also, please note that due to the nature of the review process, any budget report files that are not received electronically (i.e., submitted as PDFs, faxed, or mailed) will be processed last, as they will need to be reviewed manually.
