Divorce Recovery Support Group Ministry Training
Divorce Recovery expert Lisa Duffy will be providing a workshop training for clergy, parish staff and dedicated volunteers to learn how to launch a successful ministry for divorced and separated Catholics. Lisa Duffy has been equipping and educating parish ministry staff and volunteers for over a decade. Lisa will present effective strategies and understanding from a truly Catholic perspective of how to bring hope and healing to the members of your parish community who have experienced the pain and loss of separation or divorce, and rediscover their self-worth in Christ and the Sacraments. She will also address the care of the minister. Lisa will equip parishes to facilitate her Journey of Hope divorce recovery support group program.
Fr. Sal Palazzolo, JCL, Collegiate Judge, AOD Metropolitan Tribunal, will be presenting on how to understand and successfully navigate the annulment process. Fr. Palazzolo will offer guidance on how to accompany and be pastorally sensitive to individuals petitioning for an annulment. There will be opportunities for questions and answers.
