Justice

Heavenly Father, as I kneel today, I ask you to
pour out your Holy Spirit upon me and fill me
with a deep love for all those in the world less
fortunate than myself.  Open my eyes that I may
be aware of the many who suffer injustice everyday:
Those who live in poverty, lack employment, are
persecuted, anyone who lives in conditions not worthy
of human beings.  Give me a deep desire to be an
instrument of justice for all.  Teach me to share every-
thing I have been given.  Please bless my efforts so my
thoughts, words, and actions may bring equality for all
peoples everywhere.  Lord, may I always be guided by
your commandment to, “love my neighbor as myself”.
Amen.
