St. Mark and St. Louise

In early 2012, St. Mark and St. Louise are to move forward as cluster partners and develop a cluster plan to be submitted to the Regional Moderator no later than June 30, 2012. The cluster plan should be implemented when a current pastor is no longer available, if a replacement is not available to be assigned, or when either parish begins to experience a net operating deficit. Plans should commence with models for initial collaboration and include contingency plans for programming, outreach and administration, for clustering/merging the parishes, and/or closing buildings and planning for the sale of property. This may result in short term, temporary administrators assigned, or a more permanent solution.

St. Edmund and St. Sylvester

In early 2012, St. Edmund and St. Sylvester will cluster and develop plans to merge to one site. A merger plan is to be submitted to the Regional Moderator no later June 30, 2012, and should commence with models for initial collaboration and include contingency plans for programming, outreach and administration, for clustering/merging parishes, and/or closing buildings and planning for the sale of property.

St. Clement and St. Teresa of Avila

In early 2012, the clustered parishes of St. Clement and St. Teresa of Avila are to develop merger plans to include consideration of one fewer site. Plans are to be submitted to the Regional Moderator no later than June 30, 2012, and are to be implemented no later than December 31, 2012. Concurrently, debt repayment plans are to be submitted for each parish, addressing their outstanding payables to the Michigan Catholic Conference, the Archdiocese of Detroit, and the archdiocesan Loan Deposit Program. These plans are to be submitted to the Regional Moderator and Archdiocesan Director of Finance for approval no later than June 30, 2012.

Our Lady of Grace (personal parish)

As a sign of commitment to the pastoral care of the Vietnamese community, Our Lady of Grace will consider ways to welcome other Vietnamese throughout the Archdiocese and submit a plan to the Regional Moderator no later than June 30, 2012.
