Archdiocese to hold Monday prayer service in Detroit for victims of violence in Las Vegas

In response to the tragic shooting that took the lives of dozens of individuals and injured hundreds more in Las Vegas Sunday night, the Archdiocese of Detroit will hold a prayer service at noon on Monday, Oct. 2, at St. Aloysius Church, 1234 Washington Boulevard in Detroit. The service will offer prayers for those killed and injured, their families, for all those affected, and for an end to such devastating violence in our country and around the world. All are welcome to attend. 

The prayer service at St. Aloysius will be followed immediately by the church’s 12:15 p.m. Mass. St. Aloysius is one block north of Michigan Avenue and the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel.
