THURSDAY, APRIL 19
mykvkndh3c7h7w9oqmw64o9t3ucsu3nf Engage the Culture – OLGC Young Adults
Our Lady of Good Counsel – Parish House| Plymouth | 7pm
Engage the Culture is a new series offered by the OLGC Young Adults Ministry to address problems that particularly affect young adults. People in this demographic have been becoming increasingly less religious in general and less Christian in particular. The reason for this varies greatly from person to person be it their intellectual dissent of religion, negative personal experience, or a whole host of other objections and barriers to faith. Whatever the case may be, the Church must respond with love and compassion or risk a multitude in the generation not knowing who Christ and His Church truly are. This is why we are going to hold special events to help us go out into the culture and engage it head on. From objections due to apparent scientific disagreement with the faith to understanding what struggles young adults deal with on a daily basis we hope to assist young adults in witnessing their faith to their generation with confidence.
