TRADITIONAL CAMP

Traditional Camp What’s your pleasure - water sports, archery, cook-outs, crafts, sports, sleep-outs? Do it all and more! In addition, there are evening programs to enjoy with the whole camp and other special activities. Older campers will experience our high ropes course while younger campers will get a chance to conquer our climbing wall!

MINI CAMP

Traditional Camp A four day camp for ages 7 to 9 with all the traditional camp fun and lots of personal care from our staff. Perfect for parents not quite ready to be away from their adventurous young children for a whole week.

PIONEER ADVENTURE

Traditional Camp PIO is ten days of primitive camping for teens ages 14 to 16. MINI PIO is seven days of primitive camping for ages 11 to 13. Cook over an open fire and learn wilderness skills! PIO adventures on a 4 day away from camp experience with 2 days of canoeing down the Rifle River; a combined trip with the PIO girls and PIO guys. MINI PIO takes an overnight trip down the Black River.

HORSE ADVENTURE

Traditional Camp Whether Beginner or Advanced, a certified instructor will teach you Western or English basic horsemanship and how to take care of horses at a nearby facility. Advanced campers will be able to share and model their knowledge with Beginners as all will work together to learn or improve on skills. Horse Adventure is open to campers ages 8 to 16.

BLUE HERON SAILING

Traditional Camp Blue Heron Sailing at Port Sanilac Harbor introduces campers to the fundamentals of sailing in catboats, while learning boating safety, maritime customs and traditions. Beginners will concentrate on handling skills and crewing in cat and sloop rigged boats. Returning campers will reinforce skills learned previously both with crew and single handed in addition to working as mentoring for the beginners. Blue Heron Sailing is open to campers ages 11 to 15.

FAMILY CAMPS

Traditional Camp Slow down; spend some one-on-one time with your daughter(s) or son(s). We do all the work while you relax, have fun, and let your child(ren) be number one in your life! Spend a weekend for Fathers and Sons at the Boys Camp, Mothers and Daughters at Girls Camp, or a co-ed family experience at the Girls Camp. The weekend includes Mass and time to strengthen our Catholic faith as we grow closer to God and our families. Grandparents, aunts and uncles are welcome to join us!
