Archdiocesan Pastoral Council (APC)

Criteria for APC Representatives
Archdiocesan Pastoral Council Representatives will be nominated by the Vicars.  Their names and biographies or resumes will be submitted to the Archbishop for his consideration and appointment.  They will serve a minimum of two years, at the will of the Archbishop.  Finally, they will meet each of the following criteria.
  • Will be a fully initiated, active, practicing Catholic in good standing and a member of a parish.
  • Will have experience in strategic planning, either in your work place, in your parish, or as a volunteer.
  • Will be a current or past member of their Parish Pastoral Council or Vicariate Pastoral Council.
  • Will have participated in the Together In Faith Pastoral Planning process with either their parish or their vicariate.
  • Will have an understanding of archdiocesan structures such as the Central Service offices, Vicariate and Parish Pastoral Councils, Presbyteral Council, etc.
  • Will be willing to commit to serving on the Archdiocesan Pastoral Council for two years.
  • Will have the endorsement of their Vicar and Vicariate Pastoral Council.
