Jubilee 2000 - 300th Year Logo

Throughout its 300-year history, the Church of Detroit has had a vibrant ethnic and cultural heritage.  The four quadrants, reflecting the archdiocesan seal, are colored red, brown, yellow and black with white lettering to honor the diversity of national origin that enriches every Church in the six counties of the Archdiocese of Detroit.

The blue cross symbolizes the river, where upon its shores, the legacy of our faith was first planted.  The three stars represent our Triune God, to whom we give thanks and praise during this tri-centennial celebration of Catholic faith in the Detroit area.
